Kat Kinsman is a writer, editor, and "talker" whose topics include "food, booze, lady-being, person-being, mental health, disabilities, sex, pop culture (especially YA novels), weddings and dogs." She is the Senior Food and Drink's editor at Time, Inc.'s breakfast-focused site ExtraCrispy and has been the Editor at Large and In Chief at Tasting Table. Along with gathering many impressive accolades in the world of food writing, Kat has also authored a memoir titled Hi, Anxiety: Life with a Bad Case of Nerves (Harper Collins, 2016), which makes important contributions to the ongoing national conversation about mental health.  Sponsored by the Women's Resource Center and the Center for the Study of New Orleans.
